Summer is the season to land here. From mid-July the sunflower fields are in full bloom, and the sun lingers above the hills of Lot-et-Garonne long after dinner.
Our three summer favourites
- The morning market in the neighbouring village, quiet just after sunrise, with the best peaches of the day.
- An afternoon at the river, five minutes’ drive to our secret spot (we’ll draw you a little map).
- A long table beneath the plane tree, we’ll set it for you on the day you arrive.
Practicalities
The pool is open every day from 8am to 10pm. Bedroom AC keeps things cool overnight, even during heatwaves. Don’t forget a hat.
