Our favourite wineries of Lot-et-Garonne

We leave a small card by the door for every guest with our current top three from around the village. Today we’re sharing them here.

1. A family domaine near Buzet, seven kilometres away. Their red Buzet and rosé are on our table year-round.
2. A winegrower in Duras, our pick for whites, especially the dry sauvignon. Ask us for the name and we’ll point you there.
3. The Côtes du Marmandais co-op, friendly prices and surprisingly serious quality, a lovely introduction to the wines just up the road.

All three are open on weekdays without an appointment. Take the back road from our gate to skip the main route.
